Day 8 - Friday - Jaipur - The Pink City |
- Fatehpur Sikri

On your drive from Agra to Jaipur, enjoy a stop in this historic walled city, designed to produce rich spatial effects around open spaces and important buildings, for maximum practical use of the land. A forerunner of the modern urban planning.
- Jaipur - Amber Fort Palace

Ride an elephant or camel to this complex of Palaces, Pavillions, Gardens & Temples. Built on a hilltop overlooking ther river, over a period of 2 centuries. Its rugged on the outside, but the inside opulence full of painted scenes, precious stones, marble pillars and exotic mirrors, gives you a glimpse of the lifestyle of the Maharajas & their families

Day 9 - Saturday - Jaipur |
- Jantar Mantar Observatory

The Jantar Mantar is an equinoctial dial, consisting a gigantic triangular gnomon with the hypotenuse parallel to the Earth's axis. On either side of the gnomon is a quadrant of a circle, parallel to the plane of the equator. The instrument is intended to measure the time of day, correct to half a second, and declination of the Sun and the other heavenly bodies.
- Hawa Mahal

Meaning a "Castle in the Air". Built in 1799 as a fake Fort wall that scared its enemies away, thinking that there was a big Fort behind it. Its held up in the rear by a mass of Pillars and Passages. Hollywood would be proud of this ancient facade

Day 10 - Sunday - Udaipur (2 Nights) |
- City Palace
Inside the walled city, a collection of several Palaces (one of the Maharajas, still lives there). Some converted to Luxury Hotels. One of them houses an entire collection of Royal Jewels & items made from Bacarat Crystal. Offering a great view of the city, it is a reminder of elegance & splendor of the glorious past of Indian Royalty
- The Main City Palace

Built in Granite & Marble, with its beautiful laid out gardens & private courtyards, the Ladies' viewing windows and exquisite arches and pillars.
- Famous Lake Palace Hotel (James Bond's Octopussy Fame)

Now a Luxury Hotel with its beatiful vistas is a must visit sight, even if one is not staying there.

Day 11 - Monday - Udaipur |
Spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying the majestic views of ancient temples that date back to 728 AD, A riverboat ride to see the old culture still in existence.
- Monsoon Palace

High on a hill, the Palace was built for the Maharajas to escape the torrential rains during India's infamous Monsoon season (hence the name), when most of the city was submerged by rains or flooded by the rising rivers.
- Saheliyon ki Bari (Girlfriends Hangout)

Designed for the Royal ladies only, to hang out with their lady friends, men were forbidden to enter this walled garden of immense beauty. Now open to public & men, you still find it full of school girls hanging out, admiring the Lotus ponds, the Marbled elephants, exquisite imported Gazebos & Fountains.
